Technology Tidbits
This week at Hardy teachers were busy engaging students with technology. Buell and Jacobs had their 5th grade students using the math program Prodigy on their Chromebooks. Students were brushing up on their math skills in a curriculum-aligned, fun environment!!
Ferguson's K students were participating in a number sequencing, interactive Gynzy lesson while Viniarski's Pre-K class was dancing to the beat of If You're a Kid to learn how to follow directions. Johnson is supporting reading in the library by showing our students how to use self checkout and concentrate on READING!!!!
Students in K-2nd are beginning to use their iPads in Stations to enhance reading and math that they are learning. Lozano has been using her Apple TV to mirror the content from her teacher iPad and model what is expected as students share the iPads. Sanchez has downloaded apps that are in Spanish and English to support her bi-lingual students. I also see so many wonderful shout outs to students at CC Hardy on Twitter and the great things they are doing. Social media is being used to support education and highlight all of the outstanding things being done on our campus!!!!!
Thank you for your support of technology integration at Hardy Elementary.

T3 Google Classroom Training
This week's T3 Training on Tuesday will cover how to set up a Journal in Google Classroom. Mrs. Truett would like grades 4-5 to provide links via classroom to news articles using Newsela but first you need training on how to make your students successful. Please make sure that you have set up a Google Classroom prior to the training. If you haven't, contact me and I would be glad to help you out!!!!
