Trail Guide 02.26.23
Liberty Creek Elementary
It is National Read Across America week and we are excited to continue fostering a love for reading with our students. This year our theme is "Celebrating Our Community" whether is it our classroom community, school community, or our local community. Our Read Across America committee has put together a great collection of activities and events.
During the week of Feb. 27th-Mar. 3rd we will have our book fair open during arrival and dismissal for you to come and purchase books for your child. We will be running a "Cans and Clothing" drive to help those in need through our own CVSD Student Engagement Center.
On Friday, we have a former Liberty Lake student coming to give a motivational speech to our students about being kind, giving back to your community, and creating a sense of belonging. During this time, we will also have a representative from the CVSD Student Engagement accepting our donations we have raised this week. Please help us in coming together and supporting local families.
Shifting gears...It's that time of year as Kindergarten registration opens up on March 1st. We hope to capture as many students as possible as we look to organize our annual Kindergarten Round Up and pre-school tours this spring. We cannot wait to meet our new Explorers for the 2023.2024 school year. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to call our front office at 558-6300.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Alsaker
