ESOL Instructor Resources
As you are nearing an end to a unit, a great way to assess your students learning and incorporate CASAS practice would be to use the Tests and Test Prep book which can be found at every site.
Think ENGAGEMENT! At each site, there should be a class set of personal whiteboards!
Personal whiteboards: You ask questions out loud, and the students write the answers on their boards and hold them up. The first correct answer wins a point for their team. And/or use for CASAS practice utilizing the Burlington English Prepare for Casas section. Please ask me if you need a refresher on how to use!
