May 24 - Baccalaureate - 6:00 p.m. in the auditorium - Ice cream social afterwards

May 25 - Class Night - 7:00 p.m. in the auditorium

May 27 - Senior Picnic - be in front of the school by 8:55 a.m. for 9:00 a.m. departure - dress for weather

May 27 - Graduation - 7:00 p.m. - at this time we are planning for outside at the football field. Announcement will be made on Monday, May 23 by noon if change is needed.

Relocation Drill

UPCOMING DRILL On Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at 9:00 a.m. Tahquamenon Area Schools in cooperation with the Luce County Sheriff's Office and Emergency Management will be conducting a relocation drill. Relocation drills are in the event that staff and students need to be removed from campus. This relocation drill will have students and staff K-12 practice leaving the school building and moving to locations off school campus. The students will be moving to the Methodist and Catholic churches. Law enforcement assisting with the drill will have streets blocked off to assist in moving students. The goal of this drill is to practice moving students and staff from school to relocation areas safely and efficiently and to test radio communication with all entities. This drill is estimated to take about an hour.

-June 7 - Half day Dismissal at 11:40. Sack lunch provided.

-June 8 - Half day - Last Day of School - Lunch provided by NAMA (Newberry Area Ministrial Association)

9-11 Grade Students

Grades 9-11 will be returning them to their 6th hour cart starting the week of May 30th. There is a cost for not returning computer and cord. Talk to Mrs. Canfield if student can not find computer.

Fall Sport Physicals at the CAMP

Sports physicals are due for fall sports. Call The CAMP at 906-293-3226 ext 1427 or return the attached forms to make an appointment.
Camp STAR information: If your child is between ages 8-17, has had a loved one die, and they need some help through the grieving process, they could go to Camp STAR at Bay Cliff Health Camp this August. If you would like more information and/or an application, please contact Mrs. Derusha at school.


Please remember to call the appropriate office when your child will not be in school for any reason. The more accurate we keep attendance the better misunderstandings can be avoided. Please remember board policy is anything after 10 absences a student is considered chronically absent and futher action can be taken.
