The Maze Runner

By James Dashner

Remember. Run. Survive.

This book is about a boy named Thomas. Thomas doesn't remember anything but his name and some how he ended up in this place called the Glade. His second day he is there someone else comes up in the box. It's a girl, the first girl ever to be in the Glade, and the message she has is terrifying. ''Everything is going to change". Then everything goes crazy. The gates that close at night to separate them from the Maze at night, doesn't close and it allows the monsters of the Maze, Grievers, to come and attack them at night. So they have to find a way out of the Maze quick or they all are going to die.

I choose my book because some of my friends have read the book and said it's really good. My favorite part is when Thomas gets stung by a Griever on purpose and figures out how to get out of the maze. My opinion of the book is that it's very thrilling and the way the author ends the chapter on a cliffhanger. It makes you want to read the next chapter and the next one. The reason I like this book is because it's very action packed and there is so many cliffhangers at the end of each chapter. Overall, I would rate this book 5 out of 5 stars because personally, I love a book that has a lot of action and thrilling and, a author that makes a lot of cliffhangers at the end of chapters. It makes me want to read more. I would recommend this book for young adults.
