Literacy
Leonardtown High School is proud to support the Teacher Academy of Maryland, housed in the JFCTC, in their book drive to support literacy in SMCPS. Starting October 21st, collection boxes for gently used children’s and young adult books will be in each English teacher’s classroom. These books will be donated to students all over the county during a family literacy night held at the tech center on November 21st. If you’d like to drop off books in the main office, please direct them to Ms. Bridges. Thank you for your support!
Questions? Contact Ms. Bridges (literacy coach at LHS) at kjbridges@smcps.org or Mrs. Chew (TAM teacher) at mbchew@smcps.org.
