DRESS FOR THE WEATHER

Wisconsin weather is upon us! Please make sure your son/daughter has dressed appropriately for outdoor recess. Coats and hats are necessary for the impending cold weather. However, this being Wisconsin, it can become warm and sunny by noontime. Please remind your child if they choose to remove their jacket during recess they are to be tied around their waist and not left on the playground. Thank you.

CHANGES IN LUNCH MENU

Our FPS Food Service Department is currently experiencing a number of changes in food supply offerings due to shortages or certain items. If you have a child that has certain dietary needs or restrictions, please review the online Nutrislice menu offerings for your building more closely so you can be aware of any food items that may have been swapped. Our Food Service staff is updating the menu daily with changes and they expect regular updates and food replacements for the foreseeable future.

MARQUETTE VS WISCONSIN SPIRIT DAY

On Saturday, December 4th the Men's NCAA basketball teams of Marquette plays at Wisconsin. Therefore, on Friday, December 3rd, students and staff are encouraged to wear blue and gold to support the Golden Eagles or red and white to support the Badgers.

MASK REMINDERS

As we continue to require masks for students, please remember the following:

  • It’s a good idea to wash your child’s mask frequently, ideally daily if possible.

  • Please ensure that your child has a few masks to rotate throughout the average school week

  • Please send an extra mask in your child’s backpack in the event they need another mask

  • When choosing masks for your child, please look for masks that have 2 or more layers of breathable fabric, cover their nose and mouth, fit snugly across the sides of their face, and don’t have gaps.

If you need help with getting additional masks, please contact the school’s main office.

COUNTRY DALE LOST AND FOUND

Parent, please click on the Lost and Found link and review the items currently here. If you see an item that is your child's, ask your child to come to the NEW Lost and Found area. We have relocated the Lost and Found to the short hallway by room 6.

PLEASE READ: ATTENDANCE REMINDER

Early Dismissal, Appointments and Changes to Regular Dismissal Schedule

Students may be excused during school hours for medical and dental appointments. Any early dismissal or late arrivals should be submitted using THIS FORM. Only emergency situations should be handled over the telephone.

Parents or guardians must come into the school office to sign out their child(ren) when they leave early. Once the parent arrives, students will then be called out of the classroom. Please allow ample time for this process. These procedures are followed to provide for the safety and security of all of our students.

We strongly discourage an early dismissal at the end of the day, unless it is for an appointment that is recorded first thing in the morning on the attendance form. Taking your child out of school, even a few minutes early, is very disruptive. It also compromises the safety of all students.
