Description
The red panda has a body like a bear and is slightly larger than a house cat. They have red fur and their belly and legs are black. They have white markings on the side of there head and above their eyes. Red pandas also have long fluffy tails that they use for balance in trees and to cover themselves for warmth in the winter.

Habitat

The cutting down of bamboo is one of the threats to red pandas. Because bamboo is being cut down red pandas have trouble finding food. The second threat is being hunted down for their pelts.
