CLMS Family Update

January 21, 2022

From CLMS Principal, Mr. Eric Pettit

Good Afternoon CLMS Families!

It is hard to believe that we have officially passed the half way point of the school year! Where has time gone? Students this week have been introduced to new courses as we move forward and have continued to work hard in their classes!

I hope you enjoy our new-look family updates! As a district, we are always looking for ways to improve and enhance our communications with families in order to preserve the vital partnership we must have in order to ensure student success! While I will still continue to communicate with families on a weekly basis, you can look forward to seeing an enhanced update every other week.

Please read on to see important updates including information, events, and school pictures! Do not hesitate to reach out to the CLMS Office using the information below should you have any questions.

As always, Go Pirates!

As a reminder, families can access their student's report card via PowerSchool. Families can follow the same steps as in the first quarter to see grades. Grade cards are now available to be viewed! You can click the link or watch the video below to see instructions on retrieving the report card.

Congratulations!

CLMS was well represented at the Crawford/Morrow County Spelling Bee! Congratulations to Connor Morgan (7th Grade) and Ky Barlow (6th Grade) on advancing to the Tri-County spelling bee in February. Additionally, Ky was crowned Bee Champion! Way to go, spellers!

College Credit Plus

For any families with students in grades 6-8 that are interested in the College Credit Plus should attend a mandatory parent meeting on Wednesday, February 2nd at 6:30pm in the CLHS Auditorium. If you have any questions, please contact Student Support Specialist Mrs. Belynda Schuman at belynda.schuman@cardington.k12.oh.us.
