Sherburn Hungate Weekly News - Issue 20
A word from Mr Broom
It’s been a very exciting week in school. I must have shown at least 20 prospective candidates around for the new Reception teacher post we have out at the minute. Don’t worry, Miss Ball isn’t leaving! We’re expanding our Reception group to 60 in September and therefore require a new teacher.
Next week is our final week of the half term. Martyn Sibley, the CEO, is visiting school on Tuesday and I can’t wait to share the wonderful learning going on in our classrooms with him.
It’s going to be a wild and windy weekend so take care if you’re out and about.

Mobile Phone Use by Pupils - TIK TOK WARNING
We are also aware that children in school are using an App called TikTok to communicate with each other and the wider world. I've included a parent information sheet regarding the dangers of this app, intended for use by those over 12. To access the App, your child has to have fabricated their age (to appear over 12) or has been granted permission by an adult.
