Counselor's Corner
Hello Woodland Families,
We are Rebecca Crawford and Molly Murray the Woodland School Adjustment Counselors. Mrs. Crawford works with PreK, Kindergarten, and our specialized programs and Mrs. Murray works with First and Second Grade. Together we support the social and emotional needs of our students within the school setting.
We provide classroom lessons on social emotional skill development. Topics include feeling identification, self-regulation and coping skills, empathy, friendship skills, and problem solving. These lessons are designed to work in conjunction with our CARES program to help foster a positive school community and instill important life-long skills. We are currently working with all grade levels on feeling identification and the Zones of Regulation.
We also work with students on an individual basis and in small groups. If families ever have concerns, please reach out to us!

A Request from the Department of Public Health
The DPH is asking local health departments to promote their "Community Health Equity Survey." This is especially important in rural towns, as they have the least access to medical/mental health care. We are happy to work with our local DPH and send this link to you for them!
