Purely Puritans!!!

Colonies
The original 13 colonies in New England area are Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Hampshire and Rhode Island.
Georgraphy
The climate in the winter is bitterly cold and they have mild summers. The soil was rocky which made farming difficult. The coastline became flat when people started to develop buildings.
Religion
The Puritans dominated the New England Colonies. The Puritans had strict rules with consequences. Puritans did not like other religions expect for their own. If the Puritans failed to attended church or those who spoke out of the Puritans ways had severe consequences. They would be hung, whipped, and their tongue would be pierce with a hot awl.
Economy
The New England Colonies depended on the ocean. They did fishing, whaling and shipbuilding. They also did logging and trapping on land.
