Message from the Superintendent
Dear Emery Unified School District community,
Congratulations on accomplishing another great school year! I am so proud to recognize our graduating seniors, promoted students, and teachers and staff who have supported all students throughout their education at Emery. Graduating from high school is an extremely important accomplishment and you should be very proud of your achievements. May you all have prosperous adventures in your future education and careers. I wish you the best as you start a new journey.
For students of all grade levels, this summer, please be sure to continue exercising your literacy skills by checking out books from the local library and reading as a family. Reading supports academic progress for all ages and will inspire a love of learning in your child. Continuing to learn over summer break can help prepare students for the upcoming school year.
We have had a wonderful school year and I look forward to connecting with our Emery community in the fall. Thank you for your continued support of our school district.
Sincerely,
Dr. Quiauna Scott
Superintendent

Plastic Free Utensils
This past school year, the non-profit organization Plastic Free Restaurants provided the eating utensils used in the Anna Yates Elementary School cafeteria. The mission of Plastic Free Restaurants is to eliminate petroleum-based, single-use plastic from restaurants and schools by subsidizing the purchase of reusable replacements, in partnership with the Center for Environmental Health. We are proud to have partnered with Plastic Free Restaurants to make a positive difference in our environment!
