Lakeshore Library Learners
November 2019 - Parent Edition
An Amazing First Nine Weeks!
We do have a few overdue books right now, and I will be sending home reminder notes about these this week. These are just to help your child remember to return their book so that another student can enjoy it. If they are having trouble finding it at home, I have discovered that a lot of library books end up on the classroom library shelf, it is an easy accident, so it's good to have them look there. If they don't remember checking out the book on their account, just send me a small note back and I will check my shelves and take care of their account.
Thank you so much for helping to make the 1st nine weeks such a success! I can't wait to see what this 2nd nine weeks brings!
Reading Bingo
Due to some difficulties signing up in Seesaw, I am switching back to the Remind app like we used for BINGO last year. I hope to see more families signing up and students reading in fun and different ways!!
Details for how to sign up on the Remind App are pictured below, along with the November Reading Log card. Remember this a way to track nightly reading in a fun way since all students should be reading 20 minutes a night.
