Mrs. Swain's Message

We had a blast at the MEA Block Party on Friday. I want to first thank Mrs. Wilson for getting the Rib Majesty food truck out for our Block Party as well as Ms. Thornton for getting Panda Ice out. It was a successful event and without your connections and willingness to invite them, this would not have happened. Again, thank you! The food was good, the fellowship was great, the weather was perfect! Thank you for everyone who actually helped and stayed the course, without you all, it could have been a disaster. We had a few hiccups, but district leaders as well as community members thanked us for hosting such an event. Next year, will be even better! Any feedback you have that will make this event better, I welcome!

MEA Attendance

My questions for you remains: What are you doing to make learning relevant and impactful? What makes students want to come to school? Do you feel like you are adhering to your belief?

Week of 5/15...70%, which is no change from last week. I anticipate that the numbers will continue to decrease. As we are coming up on the last days of school and students are less motivated. Please help by contacting home when a student is missing in your classes.

Keep making calls and encouraging our kids to come to school!!!
