# Scientific Revolution

### Paul B. 5th Period

## What was the change?

Societies during the scientific revolution were inspired by science. With science as a proof for every thing, the people began to grow away from the church. They focused on mathematics, basic science and astronomy. This is what caused our life to be what it is today.

## Who were the people associated with the change?

## Galileo Galileo Galilei revolutionized astronomy by creating and inspiring. He created many things to help him do that. As a little boy he was to study medicine but chose to study mathematics and sciences. He became interested in astronomy and mathematics a lot. Later in his career, he heard a tool to see objects far away with ease. He figured out the secret and created his own. Thanks to Galileo, we now have the telescope. | ## Isaac Newon Isaac Newton was an accomplished scientist and mathematician. He discovered many equations related to science, physics and mathematics in general. He, Like many other started in Aristotles work. He then created laws to display physics and math. | ## Copernicus Copernicus was the first astronomer to realize the earth was on a polar axis. He studied the motion of planets, specifically earth and the sun. He came to a conclusion of planets orbit around the sun. He was later called the father of modern astronomy. |

## How did the change impact society at the time?

The change improved the technology in that time period. This change improved people's views on science, mathematics and astronomy. As seen in the picture, many inventions were created as a result of this revolution. This Change helped people realize how important math and science was to their survival.

## How is that change evidenced in today's society?

This revolutionization helped our world be what it is today. The inventions that were created in that time period expanded in thought and flourished into modern day inventions like the computer. This change was important, due to the fact that in was the base for this era. WIthout this change we might still be in an era of war, struggle, and terror.
