National Lutheran School's Week January 22-26
Each day your student will dress up and participate in an activity. We will end the week with a family night.
Monday - Crazy Day- Dress crazy, with your hair, socks, clothes. Activity: I am Scavenger Hunt
Tuesday - Reverse Day - Students come dressed as a teacher and teachers will dress like a student. Activity: Nature Walk
Wednesday - Dress your Best, please wear nice clothes.- Activity: Chapel with other Lutheran Schools
Thursday - Word Day, come dressed as your word. Activity: Watch a Video on the translation of the Bible.
Friday - Western Day- Cowboy up! Activity: Fruit of the Spirit
It will be a great week, and we are thankful to be part of the Lutheran family.
Service Project for National Lutheran School's Week
This year we are collecting plastic grocery bags that will be used by the Magic Valley Humanitarian Center located in Rupert. They have a special loom to make plastic bag sleeping mats.
They can use new or used bags. Please bring them this week. There will be boxes set up in front of the office for your donations.

Family Night - January 26. We are going Western, wear your boots!
We have a great night planned!
Theme - Western Days
Time - 5:30- 7:30
Food - Hot dogs, veggies, chips, ice cream sandwich
Cost $20 per family or $5 per person (Tickets go on sale, Monday, January 22 through Thursday, January 25)) Tickets bought day of will cost $10 per person and $40 per family.
Activities:
Dance, Games, Face Painting

SKI DAYS - January 11, 18, and February 2
Everyone who is going whether you rent or not must sign the waiver on the back of the form and fill out whether you are skiing, snowboarding, rent or own.
We need parent drivers, if you can drive make sure to stop by the office and fill out the form and provide a copy of your license and insurance.
If you have any questions please visit with your child's teacher or stop by the office.
We will leave the school at 8:00 am to head up to the mountain.
COLD WEATHER IS HERE!
All students need to bring a winter coat. If it is really cold they need hats and gloves as well.
We go outside for recess every day. Please make sure they are prepared to be in the cold.
Book Club with Mrs. Rhoades
Book Club is open to 4th-5th grade students during lunch time from 12:20- 12:50. Students will bring their lunch to Mrs. Rhoades' room where they will read and discuss a novel voted on by the students!
