A Smooth Return
We are still taking requests for in-person learning for four days per week. We are nearing our capacity in many classes and will do one more round of approvals. We look at class sizes, transportation, and space limits on lunch shifts.
Requests can be sent to Patrick White at patrick.white@lcps.org .
Friendly Reminders for In-Person Learners
- Just a reminder that LCPS requires that everyone complete the Covid-19 Symptom Checker before entering a LCPS school building. For students that are currently hybrid learners, LCPS sends a daily email in the morning to parents. Please complete this before your child gets on the bus or out of your car at school. There is also a QR code for the LCPS Symptom Checker posted on the front door of our school or you can access the QR code below, or click HERE for the LCPS Symptom Checker Questionnaire.
- In-person learners are expected to attend school in the building in order to be marked present. If a student is unable to attend in-person due to a unique situation but can attend virtually, the student can still be counted as present ONLY with pre-approval of the school principal. Please contact Mr. Stewart at eric.stewart@lcps.org if you have a unique situation that might require your child attending school virtually rather than in-person.
Chromebook Help
The process of Chromebook and/or Charger repairs has been enhanced to handle both In-Person and Distant Learning Harmony students. In-person students may now sign up for a PASS with their teacher and visit the Computer Lab on any day they are at Harmony. Distance Learning students should call the Technical Support Center to see if remote support is possible. If an in-person hardware appointment is needed, they may request one at either a Hardware Repair Center or at Harmony Middle School. Please visit this LINK for all of the details.
Lots of additional information can be found on the Harmony Middle School website under CHROMEBOOK NEWS. This includes: Technical Questions via Phone Support, new to Harmony and needing a Chromebook/Charger, leaving Harmony and returning a Chromebook/Charger, or needing to buy a new Chromebook Charger.
