We are closing in on our annual Teen Night event Aug. 5, 6-10 p.m.
Bring your friends for music, sweet treats, and pool fun! Middle and high school students (some of whom are pictured here) welcome! $5 for ALL!

Mark Your Calendar for Last Ladies Night
The rain held off long enough for a small group of dedicated Ladies Night patrons to enjoy a quiet evening poolside last week.
But the summer is winding down faster now. We'll be holding our last Ladies Night of the season on Tuesday, Aug. 14, 7-10 p.m.
Bring a friend, an appetizer, salad, or dessert, and your enthusiasm for an evening floating under the stars! BYOB too. Soft drinks will be provided.
The fee is $5 for pool members. $7 for non-pool members. (Non-member attendees need to be guests of a pool member who is present at the event.)
We welcomed newcomers Rachel Griffin and Angela Atwood-Moore. and former pool member Marilyn Howard for the evening.

Many thanks to our social coordinator, Sherri Spritzer, for organizing yet another blissful evening for the women of our pool (photo below). The water was perfect! So, too, was the homemade peach sangria that Angela brought (above).

Pool Fun Planned for the Rest of July
Here’s how you can spend all weekend, every weekend at the pool this month:
Monday, July 23 - Water Dance Aerobics - 7:30-8:30 p.m. No charge for members, $5 for nonmembers.
Sunday July 29 - Yard Games on the Green - 3:00-4:30 p.m.
Thursday, July 26 - KMSC Board Meeting - 7:30 p.m., poolside.
Sunday, July 29 - Pizza Night at the Pool – 5:00-7:00 p.m. The pizza comes from Ben Yehuda. Cost: $3 slice, $5 for two slices, $20 for an entire pie, cash or credit (a transaction fee will apply for the latter). Soft drinks can be purchased from the Snack Bar. We still need members to help with picking up the pizzas at Ben Yehuda's and with selling them poolside. Please use this Sign-up Genius to volunteer.
Sunday, July 29 - Raft Night - 5:00 p.m. to closing.

About us
From June 16th through September 2nd we open:
- Mon.-Thurs., 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
- Friday 12, noon to 9:00 p.m.
- Sat./Sun., 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Please use the picnic tables by the Snack Bar for meals and snacks. Our lifeguards should not be picking up wrappers and other trash from around the pool deck. We don't want it blowing into the pool and potentially fouling our filter system either! The pool is our home away from home for the summer. Let's keep it that way.

Tom Millet spotted himself in the last issue -- but questioned whether he should have been pictured at all since his last pool rat is now 27 years old. My response: Once a dad, always a dad until you become a Lounging Granddad!
