ENMS Athletics:
The mid season sports are winding down with only 2 weeks left of the season! Time has flown by quickly! Our wrestlers continue to strive towards excellence! Grant Owens is still undefeated and this week went head to head with Bellmont’s undefeated wrestler and with an impressive move pinned him! Our wrestlers are a site to see and will be on the road to Leo on Tuesday and will compete in their last home match of year on Thursday versus Dekalb! If you want a great experience, wrestling on Thursday is the way to go! Our swimmers will be on the road this week at Wawasee on Tuesday and at Woodside on Thursday. Swimmers have been cutting times off their laps in preparation for the conference tournament the week of March 13th. Go Knights!
On the home front for Spring sports – Soccer will have open gyms this coming week with try-outs the week of March 13th! Track has official started this week and is with record numbers! Both groups show to be increasing in numbers and being competitive heading into action after spring break. The golf team is still currently organizing a date for call out meeting. On the 14th we will be planning a quick call out for anyone interested in being in the tennis club. Please pass this information to any students interested in these sports/clubs.
We greatly appreciate all you do and everyone that works the events to help make things run smooth and successful! If you interested in working spring sports, please contact Bill for available games and duties to work!
Enjoy a great weekend!
Thanks
