UNITY DAY Wednesday OCTOBER 20, 2021. WEAR ORANGE!
We celebrate UNITY day to stress the importance of kindness, acceptance and Inclusion in our school.
Hello Martha Lake Community,
We want to let you know that October is Bullying Prevention month at Martha Lake Elementary. Your school psychologists go into each classroom to present lessons to students regarding how to identify bullying behavior, how to advocate for themselves if they are experiencing bullying, and how to support each other when they see bullying behaviors in their environment. Please ask your student what they learned about bullying prevention and the importance of being an UPSTANDER (someone who comes to the aid of other students and supports them in a bullying situation). If you would like to learn more about Bullying Prevention or how to approach a bullying situation involving your student, please follow this link.
