International Day 2015

A Huge Success

Thank you Parents

What an amazing week of learning and celebration. Thank you to all parents who contributed to our International week, both in our classroom activities and again on Friday to make our ES International Day such a huge success! It is really terrific what all of you do for this very special day!

We learned about so many different countries and traditions from Chinese New Year traditions in Taiwan, to New Zealand folk tales and song, Indian foods and celebrations, Australian slang, heroes and delicious ANZAC cookies, and finally learned about Denmark's rich history and delicious rice pudding or ris a la mande. Thank you Pei, Michael, Jennifer, Bernie and Linda.

Friday was another outstanding day of celebrating, I hope many of you were able to take some time to share in our celebration in the Rajendra. Your children had a fantastic day visiting Korea, India, Thailand, USA, Columbia and Israel.

Please see our class flickr account for many more photos. Here are a few of the hilights from the day!
