Free Thermometers
A Message from our nurse, Mrs. Hawthorne
Our school is partnering with Kinsa’s FLUency School Health Program to stop the spread of illness in our school community this year. Everyone at our school, staff included, is eligible to sign up and get a FREE thermometer through the program now by texting the word FLUENCY to the number 900900.
Check your inbox for a confirmation email afterward to make sure your order went through. The requirement of daily temperature checks before entering our school makes participation in a health program like this very helpful for our school.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Hawthorne

Travel Quarantine
Good Morning ARK Families!
I would like to thank all of our students, parents and staff for continuing to show perseverance during these uncertain times. I understand first hand, that balancing work and family life is extremely difficult- especially with the abrupt schedule changes and Covid-19 Pandemic. We are all on a roller coaster of emotions, struggling with challenging decisions and planning. Please keep in mind that there is no playbook for our current situation, and what works well for one family, may not be the best option for all. With grace, understanding and compassion, we can pick each other up, and push through the last wave of 2020.
Our staff is doing everything we can to create a safe and healthy environment for all students and staff as we begin in-person learning. For all families that will be traveling this month, please respect the 14-day quarantine guidelines from the state of NJ. When you return from your travels, please self-quarantine, and continue your children on remote learning for 14 days.
For the latest travel guidelines and restrictions, please refer to https://covid19.nj.gov/faqs/nj-information/travel-and-transportation/which-states-are-on-the-travel-advisory-list-are-there-travel-restrictions-to-or-from-new-jersey
Please feel free to reach out to Mrs. Hawthorne, our school nurse, with any questions or concerns. We will do my best to assist in any way possible.
Thank you and be well,
Mr. Eugene Park
Principal
