Jaguars Lead the Way

Message from the Principal

Dear Families,

Three weeks of school left! Two, if your student is a senior.

Parents for the Class of 2020, the last day of your student's high school career is May 29, 2020. This means that your student has until that date to make sure that they have everything submitted - remember, work that they do (completely and well) can only help to raise their grade. We will be reaching out soon about graduation and what that's going to look like. Make sure students check their emails, we'll also send out additional information to you.

For the parents of Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors - their last day of class is June 5, 2020. We want to remind you that it is very important for students to continue to submit their work, this will only improve their grade. So please take the next 3 weeks to encourage them to work hard, submit assignments and check in with their teachers.

Please reach out to us if you have any questions, concerns, or are unsure about something.

Stay home. Stay safe.

Sincerely,

Ms. Moreno

Mr. Ruelas

Congratulations to Mr. Ruelas! Right before the Shelter in Place went into effect, Mr. Ruelas got married. He continues to spend time with his family. Cooking with Ms. Moreno

So, having been born in Guadalajara and visiting practically every summer growing up, I had been craving a torta ahogada.

So, I did what anyone would do and took to YouTube to figure out how to make a vegan version.

And it was delicious. Really I was looking up how to make the salsa - and ofc I made it spicy. Topped it off with some onions that had been in lime juice and lime, cilantro crema.

It was delicious.
