During the civil war, different opinions separated the country in to two separate sides known as the North and the South. The political difference also lead to cultural differences, such as the south heavily depending on the slave industry while the north focused more on international trade.

In countries around the world, there are people who are persecuted for their ski color or religious beliefs. Because the democratic government in the United States permits religious freedom and equal rights to everyone, it has become popular for countries everywhere to have a democratic government as well.

In many parts of the world, countries such as Japan and China teach their students how to speak English as a second language. Being able to speak English has many benefits, because the English business is wealthy and very large. Anyone who can speak the English language is automatically guaranteed a good future in the business of international relationships and trading.

The Olympics happens every four years, and when they do happen a lot of different countries come together as one and set aside their differences and compete against each other while playing different sports.
