Using text structure this shows that Walter Mitty is very shy and timid.
Walter MItty lets people control him.
When Mitty is driving on the highway he was going above 40 miles per hour and his wife does not like that. She then yells at him to stop going so fast and makes him slow down. Whatever Mrs. Mitty tells Mitty to do he does it. He lets her boss him around with everything he does.
Mitty likes to daydream very often.
Walter is often dozong off into a deep daydream when he thinks about himself doing good deeds and such. When Mitty was in the car he started to daydream to get away from his wife Mitty then imagined himself as a very sucsessful emergency room surgen. He was triggered to this daydream by driving past a hospital.
Mitty was thinking.
Mrs. Mitty yelled at Walter when she found him in the lobby daydreaming and not where she wants him, she yelled "Why do you have to hide in this old chair? How do you expect me to find you?" After she was done Mitty did not say anything due to him being very shy and timid but he fianally stood up and said to Mrs. Mitty "I was thinking," "Does it ever occur to you that I am somethimes thinking?"
