CAPS Cross Strand Event

It was the PM associates’ turn to network with the Global Business/Entrepreneurship (GBE) and Technology Solutions strands. The event, organized by the PM GBEstrand, was held at the Kids’ Against Hunger space at Mid Rivers Mall, which was graciously donated by friend-of-the-program, Dan Vincent. At the event, associates heard from retired NFL tight end, Hakeem Valles on the art of networking and then practiced with each other before taking part in a few minute-to-win-it games to cap the event off.

On a site visit to Shriners Hospital for Children, associates heard about a number of careers that work together as a part of the team that take care of the children that come from all over the region for their orthopedic needs. Team members from pharmacy, respiratory therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, prosthetic/orthotics, nursing, radiology, research, and business were all on hand to talk about their role at Shriners.
