Megan and Maggie, Nurse Practitioners from OUR Urgent Care and members of St. Louis Nurse in Advanced Practice (StL NAP) presented on the path to becoming an Advanced Practice Nurse, as well as teaching associates how to suture a surface wound.

SCCAD Station #5 Tour
Associates from both sessions had the opportunity to go behind the scenes and see how the St. Charles County Ambulance District (SCCAD) paramedics prepare and respond when dispatched. Associates toured Station #5, were able to see inside an ambulance, hear from a number of paramedics, and learn about the intricacies of abnormal heart rhythms paramedics look for when a patient is having a cardiac event.
