Vroom Vroom! Right in to letter V
Each class had the opportunity to work together to create a volcanic eruption. Pre-K even tried their hand at writing the list of ingredients to recreate the experiment at home. We were filled with wonder and awe, as we watched the reaction between these everyday household ingredients. We measured, smelled, and touched, as we investigate our outcome.
Our vegetable painting day gave us a chance to do more investigating, as we touched, smelled and eventually dipped our vegetable slices in paint to create masterful works of art. For snack we actually got to enjoy the taste of a healthy and delicious vegetable snack.
On Thursday, we made time to visit church with our Early Learners for letter Vv week, giving us a chance to remind our students that church is a place we are always welcome. On Friday Pre-K got a visit from their 4th grade Buddies. They helped us complete some Easter work and we enjoyed some time just being together and playing.

Eleanor is a Star Person!
Eleanor kicked off our week with her All About Me page. She shared with us the rainbow of colors she loves and about her favorite animal, a unicorn.
Eleanor began her week as Star Person as a 4 year old. On Wednesday, we continued celebrating with some birthday fun as Eleanor turned 5.
Eleanor also shared her family picture with us Wednesday. The Spielmann family has 3 daughters and Eleanor is right in the middle. She is the good part of the Oreo cookie! Amelia and Penny round out the trio. It is easy to see how much love there is in the Spielmann family from the happy picture Eleanor shared with us.
On Friday, Eleanor invited her grandma to be our guest reader. She read to us a treasured book that she has been read through 2 generations of her family. In fact, the story she shared with us belonged to Eleanor's mother and it captivated our kiddos just the same, as I am sure it did those years ago.
Eleanor's All About Me bag was a beautiful reflection of our sweet friend, including a the movie Coraline and her rainbow puppy.
What a wonderful week it was celebrating the unique and beautiful creation God gave us in Eleanor!
