last week of November
We did an activity called Photo Writing, were children were keen observers. We asked children to closely examine photos and choose their favorite one. Then, through guided questions, I encouraged them to take a closer look. Some of them decided to "write" ideas and draw pictures about what they saw.
With the upcoming holiday, we started practicing wrapping gifts! Children loved it so much! Given that we are on the Box Unit, we took the opportunity to mix the unit theme with a fun fine motor skill activity. They chose the wrapping paper, the color of the tape, the shape of the gift they wanted to wrap. In the end everyone had several opportunities to practice.
We also played with play dough, toys and games, we made smoothies, played hide and seek inside with a box, enjoyed some great dancing games and had fun with our names.

That was our question for the day. They worked as teams and were able to place more than 15 objects correctly.
Recognizing the letters in our names!
This is one of my favorite activities for teaching young children how to recognize the letters in their names.
It will help children learn to identify their own names, and it offers the opportunity for learning letters in a way that is fun and meaningful.
