Women's right to vote. There were many riots for women to get the same rights as men.

What Was The Nineteenth Amendment

The Nineteenth Amendment was passed by Congress June 4, 1919. By achieving this, it required a lengthy and difficult struggle. It took decades to achieve women's rights.


National American Woman Suffrage Association was under the leadership of Carrie Chapman Catt. The second group was the National Women's Party under the leadership of Alice Paul.
