Poverty and How You Can Help
Poverty is a problem we must fix!
Why such a big deal?
Over 4 million people in Texas are living below or on the poverty, some of your closest friends could be included in this odd. Not only this but 22.7% of the 4 million are children 18 and under. Poverty can start with a family's source of income is weak, leading to not being able to pay bills, not being able to eat, not being able to afford clothes, and all this leading to homelessness.
But is this long term?
Yes! If 966,002 (22.7% of those living poverty) are children, it is most likely their children will be born into poverty as well. Not only this, The children of those children could be born into poverty. The cycle will continue and the odds of people who are poor will stay the same.
