It is our last full week of the fall semester, and our teachers are making the most of every minute. Not only are we learning important skills, we are working on Mid-year diagnostic assessments. This is very important data about our students' growth so far. Let's finish the year with our highest attendance yet! Our goal is 97% everyday!
As always, we are to help in any way we can. Please do not hesitate to reach out!

Campus Climate Survey
Jarrell ISD is conducting its annual climate survey. As a parent/guardian, your voice is critical to how our district functions. The survey has nine questions and should take less than five minutes. The deadline to complete the survey is Sunday, December 10th.
We strive for success for all students and staff at Jarrell ISD, and you play a significant role in achieving our mission.
Little Free Library - December 2023
Fun Fact: A Christmas Carol, by Charles Dickens, was first published in 1843. The first LIttle Free Library was created 166 years later
As falling leaves give way to winter winds, our Little free library overflows with precious stories of Christmas cookies and snowy days. Join Amelia Bedilia, Flat Stanley, the Magic Treehouse kids and many other wonderful characters as they go on frosty adventures.
Also, JES would like to give a nod of thanks to our families who are donating books to our Little Free Library. Your generosity makes our library even more special.
We hope you will stop by the Little Free Library and take a book,
leave a book, or trade a book.
Car Rider line wins world record!
Well, that may be a bit of an exaggeration, but we do have one of the fastest car rider lines ever! In fact, parents need to be here by 3:15 in order not to miss it! If you arrive after car rider line is complete, please come around to the front of the building and come into the front lobby to pick up your student!
Attendance Matters! Our goal is 97%!
Let's finish this semester with our best attendance this year! As always, if your child is running a fever or having diarrhea or vomiting, he/ she must stay home for 24 hours.

PRE-K
This week in pre-k we will introduce the terms imagination, real and make believe. We will look at several fairy tales, understanding that they are make-believe and that they have common story elements. In math, we will be learning the length, height, or width of one object can be compared to another by aligning both objects at the same starting point. We will be exploring measuring tools, such as a tape measure and ruler. In literacy, we will continue exploring rhyming words, introducing letter sounds, and retelling stories to build comprehension.

These are the spelling words for this week: sharp, fern, start, spoil, verb, shark, crawl, because.
