The Connecticut School Counselor Association (CSCA) has selected Megan Johnson as School Counselor of the Year for 2015! This is a prestigious and well-deserved honor that reinforces what we already know about Meg's counseling skill set, advocacy for her students and leadership. She will be honored at the state conference on May 21st.

6th Grade teacher Stacy Genova and Turquoise students were selected by the State Student Advisory Council on Education and the Commissioner of Education, as a statewide winner and awarded the 2015 Challenge to Educational Citizenship Award for their "Water Challenge" project that has raised funds for water in South Sudan. They will receive their award on June 1st.

Attention 8th grade parents

By now you should have received a packet that included all important information for the end-of-year activities for our 8th grade students. Included in the packet are four tickets to the Promotion Ceremony to take place on June 10th. Due to the Town of West Hartford fire safety codes we are limited to the number of occupants in the Hall High School gymnasium. If you are unable to use all four tickets, we would greatly appreciate it if you could return any extra tickets to Mrs. Torcasio in the KP office. Thank you and we look forward to seeing you on this special occasion.

6th Grade Turquoise Team Water Project

Please consider donating to this worthy cause as we work to co-sponsor a well in South Sudan. One well could bring clean safe water to thousands and allow villages to grow into communities with markets and schools!
