Second Grade News
Week of February 3rd- 7th
Spirit Week!
What We Learned Last Week:
We finished reading: Dear Juno, and took our weekly test. We also read: Substitute Groundhog.
Writing: We did a fun writing this week in honor of the 100th Day: "If I Was 100 Years Old". These were adorable! The class did some great brainstorming and came up with great ideas of things they would do/have when they are 100. Some examples included: I would have a rocking chair and sit with my family, I would wear pajamas and slippers all day, I would eat "soft" foods in case I don't have teeth, and I will have love, family, and live in Florida!
Math: The class did some counting activities and games having to do with 100th Day. We also continued to work on addition with regrouping, and two step word problems.
