Eagles Exclamation Student Edition
April 5, 2021
4th Quarter Begins April 7th
The 4th quarter will begin on Wednesday, April 7th, with our new attendance hours of 8:45 am - 3:15 pm for all In-Person and Remote Students.
The Prairie VIew staff is very excited to welcome you back for a full day of learning. This newsletter contains reminders and information to make your transition to a full day of learning smoother.
Please do not leave any google classroom for your 3rd quarter classes. Let the teacher remove you. It can affect your grade if you leave early.
Remote Students
- Your teachers need to see you during class. Please keep your cameras on while in class unless the teacher states otherwise.
- You must attend PE or Health and your Enrichment classes every day.
In-Person Students
- If you are transferring from Remote to In-Person learning, don't forget to bring your self-certification form. There is a link to print one below. You will be given a pad of forms on Wednesday to bring home.
- You will be keeping your belongings with you all day. Pack your backpack with that in mind.
- Don't forget your lunch.
- Charge your iPad every night.
- You must wear a mask every day. Gators are not allowed. A paper mask will be given to you if you forget and wear a Gator to school.
- When you arrive at school, you should turn your cell phone off and put it in your backpack for the rest of the school day. You should not be using your cell phone while at school.

Self-Certification Form
Parents/guardians need to fill out and sign a self-certification form before sending their students to school. Once at school, students will be given a certification booklet to use on subsequent days.
Please click here to access District 140’s Self-Certification form from ksd140.org. This form must be filled out and signed daily. It will be collected by the first point of District contact, (i.e. bus driver, teacher, or paraeducator) at the bus stop or entrance to the school.
In order to keep our doors open, it is imperative that families answer the daily self-certification questions honestly. Please keep your child home if they have a fever or are experiencing symptoms. By working together, we can keep everyone safe and in school.
