Moving in Math and Science
The students have finished up test corrections and our reteach lessons for unit 2. We began unit 3 on Thursday, with a look at our next real world experience. Friday we completed a VKR and prepared for our unit study of fractions!

Reading for the Stars
During our reading block, ACTIVE QUESTIONING has been our focus!! Students worked in groups to create "What If" questions on the information we learned while reading our book on Ghana! Next week, students continue their quest of active questioning while reading a new cultural book!
We also enjoyed the Mayor of Storyville! He was creative and got us excited about young author's!

Writing as Experts
The informational writing pieces were published and shared this week. Through a museum walk, students were able to showcase their hard efforts and take time to enjoy and reflect on all of the hard work they put forth throughout quarter 2! Next week, we begin a persuasive writing unit!

- Parent volunteers for the FMSC field trip will receive a letter this week verifying they have been chosen as a chaperone
