Winter 2
A Message from Principal Callaghan
Welcome to Semester 2, which started today.
I hope you can join me in being proud of the fact that we've made it halfway! While there have been struggles, I feel confident that we are on a path toward a greater sense of normalcy. If we stay true to our safety protocols and remain patient with the process of allowing improvements in our delivery of instruction within the learning models, I know our students will have a more productive second half of the year. Please know administrators and teachers are constantly reviewing the best ways to maximize learning opportunities during these challenging times. WHS staff cares deeply about the learning, growth and development of every child, and demonstrates this shared belief on a daily basis.
I would like to thank our students, parents, and community members for all of their support of our faculty and staff during these challenging times. Let's continue to cooperate to make sure our students get the second semester off to a great start!
Stay Safe and Take Care,
Mr. Brian Callaghan

Tips from the WHS Main Office
Log into Powerschool and scroll down to the section called Daily Bulletin. This section contains information stating the day's number as well as other announcements.
2) Why am I getting an absence call on my student's at home learning day?
WHS absence calls are based off of first period attendance. Your student may be marked RA (RA-Remote Absent) for the following possible reasons:
- misses their class
- is late to their class
- has trouble logging in to their class
If your student is marked RA and thinks that is inaccurate, they should send an email their Period 1 teacher.
You can also call the main office any time at 508-836-7720 and we will be happy to help you.
Do you have other non-urgent questions for the office that you would like answered in future newsletters? If so, click here.
"Share the Love"
In collaboration with our parent groups and other organizations such as Westborough Connects, each week we will be recognizing a particular group of businesses. You can show your support through a friendly greeting, a thank you note, a purchase, a take-out order, a social media shout-out, or anything else that lets people know that we care about our Westborough businesses and organizations.
Keep an eye out for the spirit growing and showing itself throughout our town in February!
