This week, we had multiple deadlines - for 4-H enrollment, YQCA certification, ID sheets and nominations for state fair. Thank you to everyone who was able to get this information to us by the deadline. For those youth and families that still require help with enrollment, YQCA, or these other requirements, please reach out to us if you haven’t already done so.
We appreciate the feedback that we are receiving regarding 4honline and the statewide 4-H requirements and we will make sure to collect this information and pass it on to the state offices.
One question we received several times is: how important is it to enroll in specific projects on 4honline? We wanted to clarify that while enrolling in a specific project is not required for exhibiting in the Dodge County Fair, these enrollment numbers are critical in determining how many entries our county is able to send to the State Fair. We also use these numbers to determine interest in specific projects. While the process for selecting these entries takes time, these should roll-over next year. We will make this a priority to remind and assist our members in enrolling in projects in the next 4-H year.
