Important Information
EOY STAFF CHECK OUT:
If you haven't already done so, please sign up for a time slot for your EOY check out time on the form linked below, this is the same form Brenda sent out on Friday. The process will look different this year to ensure that we are maintaining all safety precautions and avoiding unnecessary physical contact. In the past we have had you walk around and get signatures, we will NOT be doing that. Rather, you will get an email confirmation from each of the people you would typically get a signature from. Please note, items do not necessarily need to be done in order, and you will not be able to submit the form until all portions are complete, which may not be until June 19th even though you will be checked out of your room by Brit, Paul or Brenda sometime during June 8th thru June 11th. This is primarily for certificated staff, but there are some classified staff that also have some check out needs/spaces or will come to support their program teacher, so some aspects will apply to those individuals too. Email Brit with any questions.
Expectations:
- Please wear a mask when you are in all common areas, and any time you're closer than 6 feet to another person while in any space.
- If you need to bring a non-staff member to help you with your room, please be sure to get approval from Brit ahead of time and be sure to include them on the list so we can still maintain 15 or less people in the building at one time. This includes staff children.
- You will use the check out form linked below, please review prior to coming to the building and email Brit if you have any questions.
- If you have any symptoms at all do not come in, please contact Brit to make alternate arrangements.
- If you have any questions, you can join Brit's office hours on Monday, 6/8 @ 9:00 AM by joining the Zoom meeting on the building calendar or by using this LINK.

EOY STUDENT PICK UP/DROP OFF:
This survey was sent out to families this weekend to determine the amount of staff needed during each of the pick up time slots during the last week of school. In summary, students and families will come to the back of the school and drive up to a parking slot. At each parking slot there will be a staff member to facilitate the pick up/drop off of various items, and those facilitating will need some staff to be runners for the bagged locker items, etc. Most of this will be done with the family remaining in their vehicle and intended to limit the amount of contact. The only potential entry into the building will be in the big gym and would only be for iPad drop off, instrument pick up/drop off and medication pick up. We will soon send out a sign up sheet for staff to sign up for the needed slots and hold a meeting to review the many details to make sure this runs smoothly. Read the Student & Family Cougar Times for the information sent out to families!

DISMANTLING SYSTEMIC RACISM:
Paul and I are creating a s'more with many resources on dismantling systemic racism, this will be a growing resource as we go, but look for this to be shared sometime this week. There is also a powerful video below that was recently shared that I would like you to view. Now more than ever we need to engage in conversation even if it makes us uncomfortable and we aren't sure about how to do it "correctly". We can't be afraid of feeling uncomfortable. We have to be willing to feel uncomfortable so things change. For our students and our community we need to engage in conversation and commit to what we feel has been unjust. At the same time we need to continue to reflect on and talk about our unconscious biases. If we don't change and our actions don't change our nation is not going to change!
***THANK YOU FOR ALL OF YOUR HARD WORK EACH AND EVERY DAY!!!***
