Mystery

The genre of this book is mystery because you never know what is going to happen next, it's always a surprise.

Ethos

I've read a lot of books and I think that this is one of my favorites. It is a book where everything you think is going to happen, doesn't happen. In other words, it is very unpredictable, and it makes it very interesting.

"This thriller has plenty of appeal for teens looking for a book that will keep them guessing... this is one exciting ride."

Pathos

When I finished the book, I was a sad that it was over. It was super fun to read. That is why it is one of my favorite books. I hope that Paula Stokes makes this book a series, because it kinda ended like it could be continued. Also it was a really good book.

The Problem

When Preston DeWitt goes missing, after he asked Max for a cover story to go meet a girl he meet online, everyone thinks Max is the killer. Max has to run away from the FBI, steal pants, jump off a cliff, and even drive to Vegas to find who really did, but will that make everything right again?

Pants.

I think that my favorite part is when Max steals pants from some guy. This part is right after max jumps off the cliff (luckily, it had water at the bottom so he survived). Since he is running from the FBI, he had jumped off the cliff into the water and gotten his pants all wet, so when some guy walks into the showers at a campsite, he takes the man's pants puts them on and continues to run.
