St. Valentine School Community is a blessing!
Our first family science night was a huge success! Thank you to all of our volunteers; we could not have done it without you. Thank you to our teachers and to Mrs. Brake for giving of their evening time to work for this event. A special thank you to Tammy Carpenter for helping to coordinate food and to Michelle Bloom for set up, clean up, and shopping. Many parents commented that the food was delicious. Food for the event was provided by Dimaggio's Italian Bakery right here in Redford. If you would like to support this local business, be sure to let them know you are a St. Valentine family. Finally, thank you to all of the families who brought their children on a busy weeknight and took time out of their busy schedule to attend. Your involvement in your child's school community is a vital part of our academic success!
Another community event is coming soon! Catholic Schools Week 2020 begins January 26th with an all school mass on Sunday at 9am, followed by a Pancake breakfast in the gym. Please mark your calendars and plan to attend. We will need some student helpers and student singers for this mass. Please click here if your child would like to participate in the mass.
Look for more Catholic Schools Week information to come home soon.
Squishy Circuits were so much Fun!

Digging for dinosaur bones
We may be finding pieces of this in the gym for a very long time, but the fun had discovering bones was worth it!
