CSU Office of Undergraduate Recruitment Welcomes Two New Staff Members

Ms. Diana Gill, Assistant Director of Experience Programs

Diana Gill is the newest member of the Office of Undergraduate Recruitment. She is in charge of all campus experience programs including Discovery Days, daily campus visits and group tours. Diana also supervises our Student Ambassadors and Student Recruiters.

Ms. Stephanie Walton, Assistant Director of Recruitment Operations

Stephanie Walton is also a recent hire by the Office of Undergraduate Recruitment. Her duties include marketing and publications in the department, maintaining our CRM as well as recruiting Home Schooled students, virtual school students and the state of Florida.

Accepted Student Day

Saturday, April 16th, 9:30am

The Office of Undergraduate Recruitment is hosting an Accepted Student Day on Saturday, April 16th. This day is designed for seniors who have been accepted into Columbus State University and provides them with a more in-depth look into CSU. Students will be able to take a mock class, meet with clubs and organizations, and setup appointments to meet with Financial Aid. If you have a student who is interested, have them contact their recruiter so they can provide them with access on how to register.

CSU Atlanta Regional Reception

Tuesday, April 26th, 6pm

5036 Lavista Road

Tucker, GA

The Office of Undergraduate Recruitment is pleased to host an Atlanta Regional Reception on Tuesday, April 26th at Tucker High School. The event begins at 6:00pm and includes light refreshments. Students will be able to speak with Financial Aid, Housing, the Honors College, alumni, current students and our recruitment staff. Students must register and we encourage counselors to attend as well. If you are interested or have any questions, please contact Drake Russell at Russell_Drake@ColumbusState.edu.

Summer Semester of Move On When Ready

There is still time for qualified students to register for our Summer Semester of Move On When Ready. In order to qualify for the MOWR program students must:

1 Attend a high school that participates in MOWR

2. Have a minimum 3.0 GPA

3. Have taken the ACT or SAT (ACT 17 min on Math and English with 20 composite or SAT 440 Critical Reading and 410 Math)

There is no application fee, no charge for books and no tuition/fees. This is a great opportunity for students to get college credit basically for *free!
