Apply the Six Traits of Writing

The six traits of writing are voice, idea, sentence fluency, conventions, organization, and word choice. The acronym for the six traits is VISCOW.

Parts of a paragraph

A paragraph can be broken down into three parts. The first sentence is the topic sentence. The middle sentences are the details and support. The final sentence is the conclusion or transition.
