P & F NEWS
P&F Update
What a term hey? As a P&F we've accomplished quite a lot as we've been making up for lost time!
Father's Day had the highest attendance ever, the Bake Sale raised $1126.15 and we've received 107 recipes for our cookbook so far. And the 100th recipe submission was...Sarah Breheny! Congratulations you’ve won a copy of Holy Rosary’s ‘Homemade’ Cookbook.
Cookbook
We would love to have 150 recipes, so we’ve decided to keep submissions open for one more week until Sunday 4th October. So keep them coming over the holidays!
If you want to submit photos to accompany your recipe please send them through to holyrosaryhelpers@gmail.com
Christmas Markets & Family Fun Night
Fourth term is always jam packed, so we want you to put Saturday 7 November in your diary for our first Christmas Markets combined with the Family Fun Night we were meant to have back in March. It’ll be a great way to start Christmas shopping and have a festive night out with the family.
If you'd like to be a stallholder by selling some of your homemade wares or selling and promoting items from your business, then more details will be available first week back.
Thank you to all the parent helpers we’ve had this term. We couldn’t achieve what we do without you. We love the community spirit we have here at Holy Rosary.
Enjoy a well deserved break and see you back on the slippery slope towards the silly season!
Thank you for your support as always.

LIBRARY NEWS
Huge congrats to our SENIOR CHESS WINNERS for 2020. 1st Felix Sanchez, 2nd Antonio Tassone and in 3rd place, Sam Gardner. The competition was really strong this year and I am so proud of the sportsmanship and fairness shown by all 50 students throughout the competition. Trophies will be presented next term. Well done Felix, Antonio and Sam!! Thank you amazing umpires!!
BOOK WEEK is Thursday, week 2 and we are hoping for fine weather and a parade outdoors so that parents can attend. In the event of bad weather we will have to hold the parade in the gym and will record it and post it on seesaw for parents to view at home. The students are so excited and they are busy thinking of what they can make into a costume from things they have at home, as well as which favourite book character they would like to dress as.
Have the most wonderful holidays!
