Kodiak Family Update
09/21/20 - 09/25/20
From the Principal
Kodiak Families,
It has truly been a wonderful week! We have loved seeing students in the building. While all of this is new to all of us, students, staff, and parents have endured through technology issues, alternating schedules, and new health and safety protocols!
We appreciate your patience as we have moved from online learning to a blended model of learning. Technology has worked much better this week and students are receiving detailed instruction from staff on how to access content during asynchronous days. Thank you for reminding your student to complete the tasks that are assigned for their asynchronous days. Communication from teachers will move to Microsoft Teams and the OneNote Class Notebook.
I am going to continue updating parents with a weekly newsletter for the time being. Thank you for your continued support!
Please reach out if you have any questions or concerns.

Kodiak Coaches' Den
Thank you for a good start to our athletics season. Your efforts of social distancing, wearing masks, and following the attendance guidelines are noticed and appreciated. Reminder, two parents are allowed at home competition while one parent is allowed at away games.
Covid-19 reminders: Please do not send your child to practices and competitions if he/she is not feeling well. Each athlete is encouraged to have their own water bottle and hand sanitizer.
For more information about Covid-19 and athletics visit https://www.westada.org/domain/11103
Buses will be provided to and from away games/meets. If you are willing to transport your child to and from away games, we highly encourage it. This will help reduce the number of athletes on the bus. We just ask you communicate with your coach so they are aware your child will not be on the bus.
