Coming up this week:

This week is our class' week for pledges!

Each day 4-5 students will be on live announcements for the pledge. Please make sure students are arriving on time to class so they can enjoy this opportunity to be on the announcements :)

Tuesday-Science homework is due!


Thursday-Mrs. Ramos will have a sub in the morning. I will return in the afternoon. I will be on campus all day, but I have a meeting to plan for the 2nd 6 weeks! :)


Reminders:

Teachers will not be sending home progress reports for the 1st 6 weeks. We will start sending these home in the 2nd 6 weeks.


Parent conference week is coming up soon: October 3rd-October 6th. If you have not already signed up, please email me! It will also be an early release week. More information soon.

RUBIES! Thinking Strategy

Today, students learned a thinking strategy that can be used on any test-like question for all subject areas. The word is an acronym that stands for steps that should take place and the thinking that should happen before answering a question. The more the kids practice this strategy, the easier tests will become!
