First Trimester (Months 1-3)

In the first trimester of pregnancy, the women experiences feelings of nausea, constant changes of hormones, breast growth and other tissue changes. You'll have trouble a goof night rest. The baby will be the size of a kidney bean at this point. Earlobes, eyelids, mouth, and nose starts developing. While all this is happening the baby heart rate is speeding.

Second Trimester (Months 4-6)

The second trimester woman start to gain weight (5 pounds or more). You'll then start to notice your skin "glowing". Also, you'll feel less nausea and have fewer mood swings. The baby will also start to grow (about 3 1/2 long and weigh about 1 1/2 ounces). The baby develops the ability to hear and sense light in this trimester.

Third Trimester (Months 7-9)

Woman contractions come more frequently in this trimester. There will be chances of swelling in your feet and ankles. Babies weigh amount will be up to 2 1/4. The average baby full growth is more 19 inches long and weighs nearly 7 pounds. In this trimester the baby develops fingernails, toenails, and real hair.

Advice for Fathers

As you notice your significant other start to change there are multiple ways you can help and support. Such as; getting them to their appointments on time, take baby classes seriously, baby proof your home. Having a baby can cause a lot of mood changes and stress. Try listening to what she wants or needs and do your best to reach those need. She'll appreciate it all in the long run.
