Fall Festival Donations still Needed
There are 3 ways to earn a jeans pass for Fall Festival:
- Donate a Cake Walk baked good (pie, cake, brownies, etc)
- Donation of: case of water, 12 pack soda, bag of individual chips, etc (see flyer going home today for more options)
- Donate a prize for the Family Center Raffle (gift card or new gift item of your choice that you think a parent might appreciate winning)
Yes, you can earn 3 jeans passes for donations this year if you donate all 3! Please label your donation and bring to Marie, and she has jeans passes on hand to pass out!
Thank you to our entire staff for working to make this event a success! We are looking forward to a big turn-out again this year! What a fabulous way to get our parents and students engaged and interacting with staff in a positive way!
Red Ribbon Week
Along with our classroom banners that you are hopefully making with classes this week to hang up for next week's Red Ribbon Week, a flyer will go home later this week for parents and students about Red Ribbon Week. Last year there were some creative ideas for banners, and we are looking forward to some more fabulous designs to decorate our stairway area! This year the national theme is Respect Yourself, and every year the major theme is that we want our school to be drug-free and bully-free! There will be bully presentations next week, and the schedule will be sent out via email to all staff for these. There are also themed clothing days each day next week! These are also listed on your school calendar, but here is a list for you to get ready for next week:
- Monday- red shirt day
- Tuesday- wear slippers day
- Wednesday- silly tie day
- Thursday-sport team shirt day
- Friday- spirit shirt day
