From the Principal’s Desk

Good afternoon Shiloh Family,

We had a successful week of testing with our 8th grade students. Next week, sixth and seventh graders will begin taking the Milestones assessment and we expect the very best. Our students are poised for success!

Thank you to everyone who provided input at the Title I Planning Meeting held on April 11. The partnership between home and school is important and we certainly value your role in the educational process for all students.

We appreciate your support.

Your Proud Principal,

Dr. Williams

Please try your best to plan appointments around this schedule. Students can begin practicing by clicking here. They should go to Online Tools Training then EOC/EOG Test Practice. Parents are encouraged to take a look at the Assessment Guide for the appropriate grade.

Gwinnett County Public Library

The local library is a great resource for a variety of things. In addition to offering the typical resources for reading and research, the library offers numerous workshops that students and parents can participate in. Take a look a the April brochures linked below to see if you find something that is interesting to you and your student.

Relay for Life

Historically, Gwinnett County has the biggest Relay for Life event in the country. This is a charitable event to raise funding for the American Cancer Society. The big event is in May and involves thousands of people and to put it simple is a lot of fun. We are looking for team members to help Shiloh make an impact in the great effort. Please let us know if you would like to join the fun.
